CrownCouture began with founder Nikki Alonzi’s dedication to delivering the highest standard of luxury hair solutions available on the market. After studying Design and Human Anatomy, Nikki travelled to the United States where she was introduced to the professional hair industry and advanced hair enhancement techniques. Combining creativity, technical precision, and an in-depth understanding of hair and scalp structure, she returned to Scotland determined to build a specialist business focused on quality, innovation, and client care.

Over the years, Nikki developed a loyal clientele and gained recognition throughout Scotland for her expertise in premium hair systems, natural-looking hair enhancement methods, and bespoke client transformations. As demand grew for discreet, confidence-restoring hair solutions, Nikki recognised a significant gap in the market for luxury-quality hair loss services delivered with professionalism, compassion, and consistency.

In 2012, Nikki partnered with her sister Lorraine Alonzi, an experienced PR consultant and business strategist, to create a trusted luxury hair brand specialising in premium hair enhancement and hair replacement solutions. Together, they travelled extensively and built direct relationships with suppliers to source ethically selected, high-quality human hair directly from its origins, ensuring complete control over quality and consistency.

As the business evolved, CrownCouture went on to design its own bespoke range of luxury wigs, hair toppers, and hair pieces, including a beautiful collection of children’s wigs created with comfort, confidence, and natural appearance in mind. The brand also became known for supporting clients undergoing chemotherapy treatment and individuals transitioning, offering compassionate, discreet, and highly personalised hair solutions tailored to every stage of their journey.

Their vision became reality in 2014 when CrownCouture officially launched.
